Since I had some difficulties with many so-
called pre-debut picture of EXO during
making my pre-debut compilations, I
decided to make this post.
It’s clearly not a complete list of such pictures. So, I’m planning to edit it in the future, if I find some other pictures that claimed as their pre-debut, but in fact (or most likely) aren’t, or if I find out that I made a mistake in the post. So, if you think I made a mistake or you want to discuss any of pictures posted here, or have something to add, bomb my mailbox.
BAEKHYUN
1. Mistaken (look alike). I personally have no idea who this boy is, but one of my anons said it was some Chinese boy.
2. Mistaken (look alike). Google says it’s Song Joong Ki.
3. Fake (fanmade, photoshopped). All pictures posted here are obviously not real pictures of EXO, including these 3 pictures of Baekhyun.
4. Fake (fanmade, photoshopped). It was photoshopped out of thisconfirmed pre-debut picture and this picture.
5. Fake (fanmade, photoshopped).
6. Fake (fanmade, photoshopped).
7. Fake (fanmade, photoshopped). The 1st picture is actually the same confirmed pre-debut picture, but cropped and with photoshopped hair. Another two pictures most likely were made out of the 1st one.

CHANYEOL

3. Mistaken (after debut). I have found it in a compilation among pre-debut pictures of Chanyeol, but it’s two screencaps of this fancam that was taken by coverBoy on April 8, 2012. 
4. Questionable, but most likely mistaken (“look alike”). I personally have no clue why so many compilations of Chanyeol’s pre-debut pictures include this one photo, since the guy in the picture even doesn’t look like Chanyeol. He does look like Suho, that’s why this picture was included by me in the compilation of Suho’s pre-debut pictures. By the way, I’m not sure for 100% that it’s Suho also (you will see why), but I’m still sure for about 80% it’s him. At least his nose and fingers look like Suho’s.
5. Questionable, but most likely mistaken (look alike). I have serious doubts it’s baby Chanyeol since imao the only feature that looks like Chanyeol’s is the right ear of this baby. I can be wrong, but in my opinion eyebrows are pretty different from Chanyeol’s + baby Chanyeol looked more hairy even when he was only 100 days old and the baby on the picture is obviously older.

2. Questionable, but most likely fake (fanmade, photoshopped). I didn’t try to find photos that were used to make these 2 picture, but they look pretty fake to me because of the quality and the style (as you can see, it’s common for a big part of fake pictures). But I can be wrong here. It’s only my guess.

3. Mistaken (after debut). This picture is a fragment of LQ preview of thisphoto which was taken during Genie AR Show on June 2, 2012.
4. Mistaken (look alike). Google says it’s 古川 雄 辉 (I have no idea who he is and how to spell his name in English, but he’s cool).

7. Questionable, but most likely fake (fanmade, photoshopped). This picture looks very fake to me because of the style and quality of it. Since I don’t have any serious evidences, it’s still only my opinion. But I’m pretty sure about it. I think if it’s a real graduation picture of Kai, we would have it in better quality.

LAY
1. Mistaken (after debut). Some compilations of Yixing’s pre-debut pictures include this one photo, but it was taken on May 3, 2012, as well as other pictures posted here.

2. Mistaken (after debut). It’s polaroid for EXO-M Weibo Event, June 21, 2012.
3. Questionable. Many compilations say it’s Yixing, but I personally don’t think so. I even don’t think the guy in the picture looks like Yixing. However, for now it’s only my opinion. 
4. Questionable. I still don’t know when it was taken, but it appeared on internet on September 23, 2012 and posts say that Yixing signed his pre-debut polaroid for a fan. Well, there are 2 reasons of my doubts. The first is that the picture looks pretty good for a fantaken polaroid picture. There is very soft light in it and it looks like it was taken in a studio. The second is that Yixing seems posing in it. Idk, it could be some unreleased polaroid, such things are possible. But also it’s possible that it was taken in some ordinary place that just had such a good light and Yixing was so kind that even posed a bit that time (we all know how nice he is with fans now and how extremely nice he was during his trainee days), that’s why I’m not sure about this picture at all. If you find some information about it, let me know please.

4. Questionable. Here we have an opinion, and I actually have nothing to approve or refute it. I don’t have any questions because of eyes or lips (considering facial expression and angles), but I have some doubts because of ears. Sehun’s earlobes are very small and attached and in 2 pictures below they look bigger and more like free.
